Le Tour de Flip Flop Trip Blog
My name is Greg McKenzie from Mississauga, Canada and I am going for a bike ride. I will be riding from Hanoi, Vietnam to Bangkok, Thailand on a route through Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand as part of the TDA Global Cycling Bamboo Road Tour. The trip will be 2,600km on the bike and over 13,000 meters of climbing. I am raising money for The Flip Flop Fund, a charity our daughter started that provides footwear to children in Laos.
You can find out more at The Flip Flop Fund or donate to our GoFundMe campaign.

The Flip Flop Fund
As part of my ride, I am fund raising for The Flip Flop Fund, a non-profit organization that our daughter Kate founded. Laos is ranked by the UN as one of the Least Developed Countries in the world, a measure they hope to rise above by 2024. Families in rural areas have needs for even basic items like footwear. Children who do not have even the most basic footwear, like a pair of flip flops, can be exposed to injury and infection.
Donate to our GoFundMe campaign. The Flip Flop Fund is not a registered charity and cannot provide donation tax receipts. I understand if this impacts your ability to donate or the donation amount. We do pledge that 100% of your donation will purchase children’s footwear that we plan to distribute on our next mission to Laos in 2020. All travel, distribution and other costs for my ride and the mission to Laos to distribute footwear will be paid personally by our family.
